Question by Stan: Are young adult books suitable for adults?
Not quite sure how to structure this question, but was just wondering if ‘young adult’ books which i guess are aimed at teenagers are suitable for people in their 20′s? Im pretty new to reading and cant say i have read a ‘young adult’ book before so dont really know what to expect from one.

Are there any adults on here who regularly purchase young adult books and are satisfied by them? The book im thinking of purchasing is the ‘The Hunger Games”.

Ah…yes. If you were afraid your eyes would bleed out by reading a “young adult book” when you’re not that young, chances are it won’t happen.

You could — if you were feeling especially daring — even read Dr. Seuss without any adverse effects!

is a web site that has lists of adult books that can be read online on the Adult_Books page and children’s books and fairy tales that are either read to children on the computer or can be read from selected books a lot of which have illustrations on the Kids_Page. For people interested in the most recent book from their favorite author there is a New_Books page which lists a lot of sources for finding new books as well as a short list of the newest books that I have found. That page also has a link to the library and a new site link to “Library Elf” which helps you keep track of when your books are due so that you will never have to pay a fine again. There are many other pages that may be of interest.
