This is one of my favorite books, Accents: A Manual for Actors- Revised and Expanded Edition, not only does it cover accents for specific countries, but gets into regional dialects. Did you know there are like, at least, 6 in Ireland alone!

I love it, and it is alot of fun to try saying the same thing in different accents. If you are an Actor it is a must!

young adults books:

Question by Stan: Are young adult books suitable for adults?
Not quite sure how to structure this question, but was just wondering if ‘young adult’ books which i guess are aimed at teenagers are suitable for people in their 20′s? Im pretty new to reading and cant say i have read a ‘young adult’ book before so dont really know what to expect from one.

Are there any adults on here who regularly purchase young adult books and are satisfied by them? The book im thinking of purchasing is the ‘The Hunger Games”.

Ah…yes. If you were afraid your eyes would bleed out by reading a “young adult book” when you’re not that young, chances are it won’t happen.

You could — if you were feeling especially daring — even read Dr. Seuss without any adverse effects!
